The cities in Albania

The cities in Albania are very diverse, just like the geography of the country. In some cities like Tirana you will see modern architecture, in Vlora you will get to enjoy the Ionian coast and in Berat you will get to see Ottoman architecture and a castle. Many cities do have castles, but not all. You can find the legacy of the regime in the large number of bunkers which were built during the communist period. In the south of the country you can visit the Ancient city of Butrint, which will take you to the past and the hot springs in the wild outside the city of Permet.
